ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Working trousers are disclosed which are intended for forest workers and incorporate a leg guard for protection against inadvertent contact with a moving cutting chain. The leg guard comprises a synthetic-fibre composite which is incorporated in the front part of a trouser-leg or legs. Extending from the trouser-leg or legs are flaps which pass along the inner side and outer side of respective trouser-legs. The flaps are filled with a corresponding synthetic-fibre composite in order to prevent the moving cutting chain from twisting or gathering the material of the trouser leg, or "stepping" therearound, and thereby reaching an unprotected rear part of the trouser-leg.
