WORKPIECE ELEVATOR Abstract of the Disclosure A workpiece elevator which includes an upright housing in which is arranged a vertically-extending end- less conveyor chain having workpiece supports mounted thereon at regularly spaced intervals. The upwardly ex- tending run of the chain is located along the outer face of the front wall of the housing. A guide rail assembly for ascending workpieces carried by the supports on the conveyor chain is constructed so that it can be mounted on or removed from the front wall of the elevator housing as an integral unit.
