ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A workups feeding apparatus in a seam welding machine has a chucking means mounted at an operational end of a robot so that a portion of the workups to be welded can be fed bet- wren a pair of upper and lower electrode rolls forming part of the seam welding machine. A plurality of turntable members con- stitute a wrist portion of the robot. At least one such member serving to turn the chucking means in upper and lower directions is an idle turntable member having no driving source.
