In order to ensure enough leg space for the user both in the work position (I) and in the rest position (II) of the monitor (17), when the keyboard drawer (11) is moved swivelling means (16) linked to the keyboard drawer (11) enable the monitor (17) to swivel below the table top (6) around a horizontal axis (32) between an inclined front work position (I) and a rear, substantially vertical rest position (II).
