Clocks are used to tell time. There are clocks with 24hrs (1 Rev./day) and l2hrs dial (2 Rev./day). Currently very expensive clocks are used to see the time at different locations, other than that number of locations or countries is very limited. The clocks, as well as the dials, are flat. This means that are incapable of accommodating all the countries name. Apart from the above noted disadvantages, existing clocks require a minimum of two adjustments per year i.e., one at the start of the spring season for Daylight Saving Time and the other at the end of the fall season for back to Standard Time. It is also very difficult to find time for different locations on the earth's surface or countries especially under dim light conditions. In this invention the clock is made with spherical or cylindrical configuration to accommodate large number of locations or cities as many as 4000-5000. Additionally major cities could be illuminated with a melody for one minute as required. In addition to correctly identifying a location, or a country and its time as well as daytime or night-time of that location, the location could be found even in extremely dim lighting. This is achieved by a special circuit which will make dial and map to illuminate at desired light intensity This product, the "World Clock" has numerous practical uses. First, it is an excellent educational tool for teaching children about different time zones, the earth's movement, and the occurrence of day and night etc. Moreover, this product is ideal for travel agents, international airports and various other institutions. As major cities are illuminated with light emitting diodes this clock also has ornamental value too. Due to above said facts this invention / product would find world wide market in the near future.
