Abstract WORMSCREW DEVICE FOR MASSAGING PIECES OF MEAT The invention concerns a devic for massaging pieces of meat. The apparatus according to the invention comprises a vessel for receiving a chunk of meat, which vessel can be closed by a closure body, which is provided with a wormscrew for agitating said wormscrew in contact with the meat. This allows the massaging of the meat and the pressure, without the meat being damaged. The closure body is bell-shaped, in which the bottom thereof co-acts with the vessel edge. According to a preferred embodiment the axis of the wormscrew extends vertically, it is driven from above. According to a further preferred embodiment the vessel can be lifted during the massaging action, so that all pieces of meat can being present in the vessel are being processed.
