L'invention concerne un tissu conçu pour des coussins gonflables de sécurité, comprenant des fils de chaîne et de trame. Selon l'invention, au moins la majorité des fils de trame du tissu sont respectivement constitués d'au moins deux fils adjacents. La présente invention est caractérisée en ce qu'au moins un des fils adjacents est un fil multifilament entrelacé, certains des filaments de ce fil multifilament étant entrelacés avec certains filaments des fils adjacents.
