A length of wrapping material (10) of the kind comprising at least one layer of a corrugated sheet material (15) and at least one other layer of a flexible sheet material (14) which layers are bonded together to form a composite material, has at least one line of weakness (20) formed therein to extend along the lengthof the material in a direction transverse to the corrugations, whereby folding of the material about said line of weakness (20) is facilitated. The lines of weakness are preferable formed as gaps in the layer of corrugated material (15) and the material (10) The material may be formed into a roll (11) in the normal manner. In use the material can be folded around articles of much greater length than the width of the material by drawing off a suitable length (12) of the material from the roll (11) and folding it on the lines of weakness (20) to enclose the articles.
Longueur de matériau d'emballage (10) constituée d'au moins une couche composée d'un matériau en feuille ondulé (15) et d'au moins une autre couche composée d'un matériau en feuille souple (14), ces couches étant liées l'une à l'autre pour former un matériau composite. La longueur de matériau présente au moins une ligne de faiblesse (20) réalisée en sens transversal du matériau par rapport aux ondulations, ce qui facilite le pliage du matériau le long de la ligne de faiblesse (20). Les lignes de faiblesse sont préférablement formées d'espaces réalisés entre la couche de matériau ondulé (15) et le matériau (10). Le matériau peut être formé en rouleau (11) de la façon habituelle. Il peut être plié autour d'un article dont la longueur dépasse de beaucoup la largeur du matériau, en tirant une longueur adéquate (12) du matériau à partir du rouleau (11) et en la pliant le long des lignes de faiblesse (20) pour emballer les articles.
