ABSTRACT Device and process for stretch wrapping with plastic film that has increased stretchability at elevated temperatures. The device has heating means disposed between the roll of film and the items to be wrapped, means for applying tension to the heated film to stretch it, and means to permit application of the stretched film to the items to be wrapped. The preferred film is plasticized polyvinyl chloride, 1/2 mil to 5 mils thick.
