ABSTRACT In the search for a perfect hand tool to measure fasteners, I found that the products available are either; too bulky and complex in structure, or too simple for high accuracy, or designed with not enough measurements, or too hard to use when measuring in confined areas, and no tool was found, to be designed for a shirt pocket. The invention is a manually operable tool for measuring fastening devices where a standard and/or metric wrench or socket would be used. Comprising of a slider adapted freely to embrace and slide up and down on a main body. This allowing for adjustment to make a fit to the object being measured. The reading is taken from holes in the slider which display the proper measurements that are printed on the main body.
