A writing instrument (10) has an elongate body equipped with a pocket connector (16). The connector (16) includes a leg (18) secured to the body and a relatively rigid, elongate stem (20) extending from the leg (18) in generally parallel relationship with a face surface (24) of the body to define a pocket receiving space therebetween. The stem (20) has a remote spring engaging surface near an end of the stem (20) remote from the leg (18). A pocket engaging leaf spring (25) is disposed in the space and has ends (26, 28) in biased engagement with the remote spring surface and another spring surface near the leg. The spring (25) is bowed such that a central portion of the spring (25) is closer to the body face (24) than the spring ends (26, 28). The disclosed body is a scabbard (12) which remains in a user's pocket when the writing implement (10) is in use.
L'invention concerne un instrument d'écriture (10) à corps allongé, équipé d'une attache sur poche (16). Ladite attache (16) comprend un montant (18) fixé au corps et une tige allongée relativement côtelée (20) qui s'étend depuis le montant (18), en position généralement parallèle par rapport à une surface de face (24) du corps, définissant entre le montant et la surface un espace de réception dans la poche. La tige (20) comporte une surface distante d'enclenchement de ressort, près d'une extrémité de la tige (20) en un emplacement distant du montant (18). Un ressort à lames de maintien sur la poche (25) est placé dans l'espace décrit, et les extrémités (26, 28) de ce ressort s'enclenchent en contrainte avec la surface distante d'enclenchement de ressort et avec une autre surface de ce type près du montant. Le ressort (25) est courbé de sorte qu'une partie centrale du ressort (25) en question soit plus proche de la face du corps (24) que les extrémités (26, 28) du même ressort. Le corps considéré est un fourreau (12) qui reste dans la poche de l'utilisateur lorsque l'instrument d'écriture (10) est opérationnel.
