A writing instrument (1), particularly a ballpoint pen, comprising a sleeve- like housing (2), a reservoir (3) axially extending in said housing (2), a push button (6) positioned in the rear portion of the housing (2) and mounted in the housing (2) to be manually displaceable in a fashion to be secured against pivoting with the reservoir (3) between a rear parking position and a front writing position and biased in its parking position by the force of a spring a latching device (19) for latching the push button (6) in its writing position with a latch recess (21) in the housing (2) and a latch lug (23) positioned at the free end of a transversely elastically bendable spring arm (24) extending from the push button (6), a shift device (35) for releasing the latching device (19) and returning the latch lug (23) into its parking position, and a support member (17b) disposed at the push button (6) and comprising a support surface (17b) which bars the latch lug (23) by a stop from lateral movement into the latch recess (21) when being moved back from a position moved forwards beyond the writing position. In order to enhance the arrangement of the support member (17) in the writing instrument (1), the support member (17) is disposed at a peripheral wall portion (17a) of the push button (6), which is located radially outside a central free space (12) in the push button (6).
La présente invention concerne un instrument d'écriture (1), notamment du type stylo à bille, qui comporte un logement de type manchon (2), un réservoir (3) s'étendant axialement dans ledit logement (2), un bouton poussoir (6) positionné dans la partie arrière du logement (2) et monté dans le logement (2) de manière à pouvoir être déplacé manuellement et à pouvoir être bloqué vis-à-vis du pivotement avec le réservoir (3) entre une position de rangement arrière et une position d'écriture avant, ledit bouton poussoir étant sollicité dans sa position de rangement par la force d'un ressort, un dispositif de verrouillage (19) conçu pour verrouiller le bouton poussoir (6) dans sa position d'écriture avec un évidement de verrouillage (21) ménagé dans le logement (2) et un ergot de verrouillage (23) positionné au niveau de l'extrémité libre d'un bras à ressort pliable transversalement et élastiquement (24) en saillie à partir du bouton poussoir (6), un dispositif de décalage (35) conçu pour libérer le dispositif de verrouillage (19) et ramener l'ergot de verrouillage (23) dans sa position de rangement, et un élément de support (17b) disposé au niveau du bouton poussoir (6) et comportant une surface de support (17b) qui empêche l'ergot de verrouillage (23) de se déplacer latéralement vers l'intérieur de l'évidement de verrouillage (21) au moyen d'un élément d'arrêt lors du recul à partir d'une position déplacée vers l'avant au-delà de la position d'écriture. Afin d'améliorer l'agencement de l'élément de support (17) dans l'instrument d'écriture, l'élément de support (17) est disposé au niveau d'une partie de paroi périphérique (17a) du bouton poussoir (6), qui est située radialement à l'extérieur d'un espace libre central (12) dans le bouton poussoir.
