ABSTRACT: The invention relates to an X-ray spot-film device provided with diaphragm means arranged close to the film. These means comprise a diaphragm with several rectangular sections relatively displaced in horizontal direction and having relatively different vertical dimensions and a further diaphragm assembly with verti- cally extending diaphragm edges. By moving the diaphragm over different distances into the radiation path, the diaphragm aperture can be adapted to exposure formats of relatively different vertical dimensions.
