The invention relates to diketopyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrroles of formula Image (I), wherein R1 and R2 are each independently of the other hydrogen, halogen, C1-C6alkyl, cyano or a -OR3, -COOR3, -CON(R3)(R4), -COR3 or -N(R3)(R4) group, and R3 and R4 are each independently of the other hydrogen, C1-C6alkyl, phenyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by halogen or C1-C6alkyl. Said diketopyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrroles are pigments coloured in a strong yellow shade having good fastness properties.
