YIELDABLE MOORING LINE FOR A BOAT ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A yieldable mooring line for a boat comprises a coil spring with first and second spring key clevises connected to opposite ends of the spring and projecting therefrom. A chain at one end is connected to the first spring clevis. A line is removably anchored to the boat, and a snap-on is secured upon one end of the line which is removably connected to the other end of the chain. The second spring clevis is adapted for connection to a dock or piling.
