Zebra Mussels are contaminating all fresh water lakes & rivers connected to the Great Lakes. Intake lines soon become clogged as Zebra Mussel colonies grow inside intake piping. This apparatus will hold in place a filter bag of a small enough micron rating to filter out mature Zebra Mussels and their offspring. The apparatus connects over the foot valve of your water system. The filter bag will be attached to the apparatus and water will be drawn through the filter bag into the pipe by the pump. All water must now pass through the filter bag. Drawing # 1 shows a complete Parts List. Drawing # 2 shows the filter bag in place on the apparatus.
