A method for producing a zeolite composite membrane in which a zeolite membrane is formed on a porous substrate includes the steps of:coating a zeolite membrane on a porous substrate made of zeolite having the same or a similar composition as the zeolite membrane and containing the same template as the zeolite membrane; and calcining the porous substrate having the zeolite membrane thereon to remove the template from the zeolite membrane and the porous substrate at once. A zeolite composite membrane without any crack can be obtained by almost equalizing thermal expansion coefficients of the porous substrate and the zeolite membrane.

Un substrat poreux en zéolithe qui présente la même composition ou une composition similaire à celle d'un film de zéolithe devant être formé sur celui-ci, et qui contient un agent de coulée, est revêtu d'une zéolithe contenant le même agent de coulée. Le substrat revêtu est calciné afin d'éliminer l'agent de coulée simultanément du revêtement de zéolithe et du substrat poreux. On obtient ainsi un film composite de zéolithe constitué du substrat poreux et d'un film de zéolithe formée sur celui-ci. Comme le film de zéolithe a été réglé de façon à présenter quasiment le même comportement d'expansion thermique que le substrat poreux, il ne produit pas de fissures.
