Improved device for the zigzag folding of a continuous flexible tape or ribbon of textile material. This device is characterized in that the rollers (4, 5) are mounted on the joining and guiding spindles (10), the lower ends of which are attached to a support structure associated with the carriage, said rollers consisting of an alternating succession of modular sets of disks (12) and pulleys (13) taking cables (14), a plurality of cables defining one or several belts (15) for advancing parts of the tape and ribbon, a first end of the cables being secured on fixing means (24-25) offset at an angle to the plane of the rollers (4-5), said cables being parallel and horizontal, the number of disks and pulleys varying according to the width of the tape or ribbon to be folded, each pulley being mounted free to rotate independently of the direction of rotation of the rollers.
AUBÉRGE Dispositif perfectionné pour le pliage en zig-zag d'une bande ou ruban flexible en matériau textile amené en continu. Ce dispositif est remarquable en ce que les galets (4, 5) sont montés sur des axes (10) de liaison et de guidage dont les extrémités inférieures sont fixées à une structure support associées au chariot, lesdits galets sont constitués par une succession alternée d'ensembles modulaires de disques (12) et de poulies (13) réceptrices de câbles (14), une pluralité de câbles définissant une ou des courroies (15) de poussée des parties de bandes et de rubans, une première extremité des câbles étant fixée sur des moyens d'attache (24-25) décalés angulairement par rapport au plan des galets (4-5), lesdits câbles étant parallèles et horizontaux, le nombre des disques et poulies étant fonction de la largeur de la bande du ruban à mettre en plis, chaque poulie étant montée libre en rotation indépendante du sens de rotation des galets.
