Disclosed is zinc oxide which can be used in applications such as a heat- releasing filler more suitably than conventional zinc oxide and can also be used in other applications. Specifically disclosed are zinc oxide particles having a median diameter of 1 to 30 µm and a D90/D10 value of 4 or less.
