ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention provides a glaucoma treating composition com- prising a glaucoma treating composition which contains from about 0.1 to about 2% by weight of at least one compound selected from among carbostyril derivatives represented by the formula (I) Image (I) wherein R2 is a group Image , wherein R is lower alkyl, and pharmacologically acceptable acid addition salts of the der- ivatives and is in the form of an opthalmic solution or ointment.
