ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A disposable litter container is formed from a pliable bag, preferably a transparent PVC bag, provided with relatively stiff plates along each side of the bag opening, the plates facilitating the opening of the bag and the scooping of the litter into same, whereupon the plates are placed face-to-face to close the bag prior to its disposal. The invention provides the advantage of low production costs, convenient use, small size resulting in easy storage of a plurality of the containers, and the possibility of utilizing the product as a promotional piece for pet shops or the like.
