A B S T R A C T A device for testing a persons ability to walk along a predetermined path, e.g. to test his sobriety if he were suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or a drug, in which a cover sheet has marked thereon the path to be walked along, the cover sheet being in overlying relation to a bottom sheet, a pressure sensitive marking material being positioned between the two sheets at a location only to mark that portion of the bottom sheet which is situated below the path indicated on the cover sheet.
