D-14565 UNITARY MOLDED CONTAINER LID AND TRAY FOR ARTICLE PACKAGING ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A domed container lid and tray which are suitable for many packaging applications and especially for packaging ampuls. The lid and tray have a unitary molded construction and are characterized by being formed from a thin, relatively flexible material so as to be capable of being readily and inexpensively fabricated, or thermoformed, from a plastic material such as high impact polystyrene or the like. Both the lid and tray com- ponents are also structurally designed in such a manner that each may be conveniently internested with other like lids and trays for compact storage and shipment. Additionally, the lid and tray com- partments include means molded therein for accommodating stacking of a plurality of assembled containers, or packaged, in registered vertical alignment one on top of another to facilitate storage and shipment.
