TITLE: PIPE POSITIONING CLAMP ABSTRACT A pipe positioning clamp has first and sec- ond pipe engagement members which fit around and are fixedly locked to a pipe utilizing locking members. At least one arm is pivotally mounted to each of the engagement members and extends away from the engagement members in a plane which passes through the engagement members and the pipe and is perpendicular to the cylin- drical axis of the pipe. The arms are initially pivot- able to the engagement members and subsequently held fast to the engagement members by connecting members linking the arms to the engagement members. Each of the arms includes a support engagement member which projects away from the arm and is adjustable with respect to the arms such that it can contact and press against the support surface. The contact of the support members with the support surface fixedly positions the pipe with respect to movement toward the support surface.
