ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Preparation of propylene oligomers having from 21 to 48 carbon atoms per molecule by a process which comprises (a) contacting propylene in a reaction zone with a hydrogen fluoride catalyst; (b) maintaining the temper- ature in the reaction zone between about 20°C and -30°C; and (c) maintaining the pressure in the reaction zone between about 0 psig and 400 psig.
