RADIOACTIVE SOURCE PIGTAIL INSPECTION APPARATUS AND METHOD Abstract A radioactive pigtail used to radiograph welds is inspected by exposing the pigtail in a transparent tube and viewing the condition of the pigtail at a remote location, generally, at least two television cameras are positioned substantially orthogonal to one another and to the axis of the tube to photograph the pigtail and to transmit the image to a screen in the remote location. High resolution inspection is easily and safely accomplished.
