ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Fire retardant flexible polyurethane foams are prepared with reduced scorch and discoloration by the addition of a stabilizing amount of from about 1 to about 12 parts by weight of a cyclic alkylene carbonate to the formulation, based on the weight of the polyether polyol employed, without affecting the fire retardancy of the foam product.
