- 18 - Abstract There is disclosed a blood anticoagulant consisting essentially of a sulfonated polyethyleneimine formed by sulfonating 1 mole % or more of the -NH- and -NH2 groups present in a polyethyleneimine having a molecular weight of 300 or greater. This blood anti- coagulant is suitable for preventing coagulation of blood collected for purpose of hematological examination.
