Abstract of the Disclosure This invention relates to a conical stressing device comprising a double conical stressing assembly with a double con- ical ring and two conical rings one of which tensions the double conical stressing assembly around a hub, and the other conical ring tensions the double conical stressing assembly axially on a shaft in front of the hub. The inner peripheral surface of the double conical ring is stepped cylindrically so that it is seated with its larger internal diameter on the hub and with its smaller internal diameter on the shaft.
