ABSTRACT A damp-proofing sheet-like constructional building element comprises a sheet (1) made of impact-resistant polyethylene, which has profiles moulded out from the plane of the sheet, for example in the form of protrusions, in order to achieve permanently effective drainage, good insulation and simple handling. The profiles project from the plane of the sheet on both sides, and on one side a filter layer (2) which is permeable to water is arranged parallel to the plane of the sheet and is located two-dimensionally on the profiles, the filter layer enclosing between itself and the sheet (1) channel-like cavities extending transversely to the longitudinal extension of the sheet.
