COAGULATION Abstract of the Disclosure An improved process is provided for the coagulation from the latex of a carboxylated styrene- butadiene polymer, the improvement being adjusting the pH of the latex to between about 6.5 and about 7.5 and adding an emulsifier mixture which contains, based on 100 parts by weight of polymer in the latex, from about 3 to about 6 parts by weight of the alkali metal salt of a fatty acid and from about 1.5 to about 3.5 parts by weight of the alkali metal salt of a rosin acid.
