ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A tilt mechanism, particularly well suited for a control console such as a low profile keyboard is disclosed. Elongated spring biased links extend lengthwise of the console in side-by-side relationship. A pair of support feet, pivotal mounted on the underside of the keyboard are movable from retracted positions by the spring biased links to positions at which the keyboard is progressively more tilted. Control means consisting of a button or key selectively control the movements of the links under the action of the biasing means.
