MONSON FOR ROTARY FLOORING SURFACE TREATING DEVICE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A flooring surface treating device which can be used to spray a liquid cleaning solution onto a rug and then vacuum remove it, or else spray,a wax-removing solution onto a wooden or tile floor surface and then vacuum remove it, etc., includes a lower carriage unit which is mounted to be movable on and over the surface to be treated and an adjustably interconnected upper handle unit for the operator's gripping. The lower carriage unit includes a shroud and a drive motor, the shroud generally enclosing and the drive motor rotating a wand which includes multiple radially-extending vacuum ducts and adjacent discharge pipes (with spray nozzles). The vacuum ducts are continuously connectable to a vacuum source and the discharge pipes are continuously connectable to a source of liquid treating solution.
