A method of manufacturing a superconductive conductor containing a superconductive ceramic material being in composition generally expressed by the composition AaBbCc. A material generally expressed by AaBb is melted and a melt is continuously drawn from a hole provided in a frame. The AaBb melt drawn out from the hole is solidified and the solidified body is heated in an atmosphere containing C. A represents an element selected from groups Ia, IIa and IIIb of the periodic table, B represents at least copper, C represents at least oxygen and a, b and c represent numbers showing composition ratios of A, B and C respectively.
