ABREGE DESCRIPTIF L'invention concerne un vernis de protection comprenant en solution dans un solvant halogéné et/ou cétonique des polymères fluorés obtenus par polymérisation principalement d'au moins un monomère fluoré (I) de formule: H2C = C(RI) - C(O) - O- C(R2)(R3) - CnF2n+1-mHm L'invention concerne également un procédé de préparation de ce vernis selon lequel la polymérisation est effectuée dans un solvant essentiellement halogéné. Le vernis selon l'invention possède d'excellentes qualités mécaniques et de résistances aux acides concentrés. Il est applicable sur les matériaux thermodurcissables et les matériaux thermoplastiques.
