ABSTRACT A heat-shrinkable sleeve and a process for the production thereof. The invention relates to a heat-shrinkable sleeve (SU) which, as shrinkable component (SK), comprises a cross-linked polymer in the form of a reticle (SN). This reticle (SN) is embedded into non-shrinkable components (NSK). The individual reticle fibre elements (SNF) of the individual reticle cells (NM) are undetachably connected to one another at the intersection points (KP). Figure 1
