ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention refers to an assembly for the attachment of overhead lines, specially power lines to an insulator, having a loop formed of at least two twisted wires, which are bent at approximately the midline in a bend region, forming two legs so as to lodge said cables between the twisted legs thus formed, the bend region being smooth and untwisted. The object of the invention lies in providing an assembly that dispenses with the utilization of a connection element convent- ionally employed in the installation of overhead networks. Such object is attained by the invention due to the fact that the wires of said loop can be separated in two groups in the bend region, a pin having at least one retention element being provided, said pin cooperating with an insulator and insertable in the loop.
