ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A separable ski 10 and 11 with an interconnecting joint 20 and 21 having no snow contacting surface. The joint includes a female connector 20 having an internally grooved socket 20c and 20d which receives the tongue 21c of a male connector 21. An overcenter cam toggle lock 24 carried on the male connector 21 engages a latch hook 22 on the female connector 20 and resides within the dimensions of the ski to securely lock together the separable portions 10 and 11 of the ski.
