0 ABSTRACT RECEPTACLE FOR DISPLAY OF ARTICLES The present invention relates to blister type packaging. The receptacle according to the present invention comprises a transparent shell fastened onto card so as to contain an article bearing a bar code. The reading of this code by opto-electronic means through the shell is distorted by ribbings formed on shell , facing the code. Thus any confusion between code which is rendered unreadable, and another bar code printed elsewhere on a receptacle is avoided. Application of the present invention is to the blister packaging of boxes of photographic or cinema film which have printed thereon an identification bar code.
