ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a novel therapeutic agent for skin ulcers comprising a therapeutically effective amount of adenosine-3',5'-cyclic phosphate or a derivative thereof, as the active ingredient, in association with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier therefor; and also a method for the treatment of skin ulcers by using this agent. The therapeutic agent is prepared into various forms such as emulsions, ointments and creams, and is externally applied to the affected part.
