Title: MASONRY VENEER TIE Abstract of the Disclosure A masonry veneer tie having an upright ponytail and an elongated rod-like anchor having an eyelet at one end to receive the ponytail and a threaded segment at the other end to fasten the anchor to a steel stud or the like are used in combination to tie a masonry veneer wall to the framework of a building. A stop thread limits the advance of top anchor into the stud under compressive loads.
