ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A fluid level indicator is provided for a master cylinder to generate a signal in response to the fluid level reaching a predetermined level. The fluid level indicator includes a carrier assembly for holding a magnet and moving the same within a master cylinder reservoir. A reed switch is activated by the magnet in a given position.
