ABSTRACT Oxadiazolopyrimidine derivatives of the general formula Image (I) , wherein R represents an alkyl, alkoxyalkyl, haloalkyl, aralkyl or aryl group and R1 represents a dialkylamino, 4-alkyl-1,2,5,6- -tetrahydropyridin-l-yl, piperdino, azabicyclononyl, azabicyclooctyl, 3-pyrrolin- -l-yl, 3-hydroxy-l-piperidinyl or 4-hydroxy- -l-piperidinyl group or, when R represents a haloalkyl, aralkyl or aryl group, R1 can also represents the 1,2,5,6-tetrahydropyridin- -l-yl group, and salts thereof as well as a process for manufacturing same are described. These oxadiazolopyrimidine derivatives have a useful vasodilating and/or blood pressure lowering activity.
