Abstract An AM/FM band selector for a radio receiver uses only a single manual switch instead of two which are required in conventional selectors. Power comsumption is reduced by eliminating power consuming components and impulse noise, which is a problem with conventional selectors when bands are selected and when power is switched on and off, is removed.
