ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Sheet Feeder for Sheet Processing Machines The invention refers to a sheet feeder for paper sheet processing machines. Preliminary correction of the entire stack of paper sheets is carried out before actual side alignment of the sheets by means of the side drawing marker. In order to actuate the corresponding servomotor an actual sheet position detection device is provided and arranged immediately after the stack of sheets with respect to the direction in which the sheets are conveyed, which detects the lateral position of the sheet just separated from the stack and fed to the subsequent con- veyor device.
