ABSTRACT An apparatus for the direct soling of the shoe uppers comprises a set of moulding stations arranged on a turntable, not shown, and an injection unit . The injection unit includes a mixing chamber and a screw located on a screw mounting . The screw mounting can be driven by a cylinder between a rear or retracted position and a forward or mixing position. The injection unit also includes a revolvable magazine containing a set of screws and a gripping element which is displaced vertically by a cylinder and horizontally by a cylinder . In order to achieve a screw change, the screw mounting is driven into its retracted position. The gripping element then removes the screw from screw mounting , deposits it in magazine , takes another screw from magazine and fits this screw on mounting .
