CURRENT AND VOLTAGE LIMITED INVERTER Abstract of the Disclosure An electronic inverter with sharply limited output voltage and current despite wide variations in load impedance. A particular configuration of passive reactances on the output of a conventional semiconductor inverter assures that voltage is limited with varying impedance loads which might otherwise increase the out- put voltage, and it also guarantees that even a short circuited load will not exceed the current limitation of the circuit.
