ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A clamp is supported on the side of a drum for mounting the drum on a support rod. The clamp is mounted so as to avoid concentration of the load on a single part of the drum body. The clamp is cushioned at opposite vertical ends of the clamp where it is attached to the drum body to minimize the transmission of vibration of the drum to the support rod.
