CORRUGATED PIPE CONNECTOR AND METHOD OF MOLDING Abstract of the Disclosure A connector for affixing to a conduit having at least one ridge located adjacent to its end. The connector has a body which is open at one end to receive the conduit in a bore communicating with the open end. A recess or plurality of recesses is provided in the connector. At least one finger is formed in the recess (or in each of the recesses) with a respective projection extending into the bore during use. The projection incorporates retention means located on the face of the projection remote from the open end of the body, to pre- vent the projection from riding out of engagement with the ridge(s) when a withdrawal force is exerted on the conduit held in the connector, by causing the projection to be drawn deeper into engagement with the ridge(s).
