ABSTRACT Pesticidal fluorphenoxybenzyl esters of the following general formula: Image (I) characterised in that R1 is a hydrogen atom; an alkyl group containing 1 to 10 carbon atoms, a (cycloalkyl)alkyl group containing 3 to 7 ring carbon atoms and a total of 4 to 9 carbon atoms, a cycloalkyl group containing 3 to 7 ring carbon atoms, an alkenyl or alkynyl group containing 2 to 4 carbon atoms, an aryl group containing 6 to 12 carbon atoms, or an aralkyl group containing 7 to 11 carbon atoms; m and n each independently is 0 or 1 and m + n is 1 or 2; and D is a hydrogen atom, a cyano group or an ethynyl group, with the proviso that when D is cyano or ethynyl then the alcohol moiety is in the R,S-racemic or in the S-optical configuration.
